About Us

Mission

House Spirit exists to uplift Indigenous individuals, families, and communities through cultural connection, restorative justice, community healing, and the preservation and revitalization of ancestral lands, traditions, and spiritual identities.

Guided by Indigenous leadership and rooted in sacred cultural values, we are committed to strengthening relationships to culture, land, and community while supporting healing, resilience, and long-term stability for future generations.

Vision

House Spirit envisions a future where Indigenous and non-Indigenous communities alike have access to welcoming, community-centered spaces for healing, cultural connection, education, and personal growth.

Our long-term vision is to create transformative spaces rooted in Indigenous knowledge, relationship-based care, and community support — places where individuals and families can reconnect, gather, heal, and thrive together for generations to come.

Purpose

House Spirit is an Indigenous-led nonprofit serving Indigenous individuals and families through restorative justice, cultural connection, reentry support, family-centered programming, and community healing initiatives in Oregon.

Rooted in Indigenous knowledge, relationship-based care, and community connection, House Spirit is actively building toward a permanent gathering space where individuals, families, and communities can heal, reconnect, learn, and grow together for generations to come.

While that long-term vision continues to grow, House Spirit remains engaged in outreach, advocacy, partnership-building, and community-centered program development throughout Oregon.

House Spirit remains Indigenous-led and Indigenous-focused while still responding compassionately to broader community needs when appropriate and within capacity.
